Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of UseEdith's document tools.

Permitted use

You may process files that you own or are authorized to modify. You must not upload unlawful content, attempt to disrupt the service or use automated traffic to bypass technical limits.

Optional AI features

When you explicitly use an AI action, you instruct UseEdith to send the selected text or document brief and minimum technical context to its AI provider. The full PDF is not sent for that purpose. You must have the right to process the content you submit.

AI output is a proposal, not legal, accounting or other professional advice. Check names, dates, amounts, recipients, factual accuracy and legal suitability before exporting or relying on a document.

Visual signatures

The signature tool creates a graphical representation. It is not a qualified electronic signature and may not satisfy formal signature requirements in every jurisdiction.

Availability and results

Document formats vary widely. Review every output before relying on it. We may apply file-size, page-count and rate limits needed for security and reliable operation.

Free access and accounts

Quick PDF tools can be used without an account and do not consume the full-editor document allowance. You can also open, edit and preview a document in the full editor without an account. A free account is required only when you choose to export from the full editor.

The standard free allowance is one new full-editor document in a rolling 30-day period per account. Reopening, correcting, downloading or re-exporting that same saved document while it remains in the account history does not consume another new-document allowance. Creating multiple accounts or using temporary email services to evade the allowance is not permitted.

Completed quick-tool results are saved automatically when you are signed in. As a guest, you may download the result without an account or choose to save it to your account afterward. Account files are normally available for 30 days and can be deleted earlier from the account history. We may apply fair-use and security limits to automated, excessive or disruptive traffic.

Account responsibility

Keep your sign-in details confidential and use an email address you control. You may delete individual history items or deactivate access from the account page. Deactivation signs you out but does not itself erase the account record or history. Existing file retention periods continue to apply.

Paid access

When paid checkout becomes available, the final price, currency, taxes, billing period and whether a payment renews will be shown before purchase. “Finish this document” and the 7-Day Pass are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. Edith Pro is recurring until cancelled; it is never preselected. The annual option displays the total annual charge, not only a monthly equivalent. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee that every unusual document structure will be supported. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
